Dracula's Ball *Halloween* 2014

dbbutton

The most exciting, invigorating, decadent day of the year is coming up soon. This year, it's on a Friday night, which means there's absolutely no excuse to miss out. Halloween is less than two months away, and everyone is starting to feel a little darker already.

Our Dracula's Ball event takes place right on Halloween (Friday, October 31st) at the Trocadero Theatre. This event WILL be sold out, so we strongly recommend purchasing advance tickets.

Artists Appearing at Dracula's Ball, Halloween

First of all, we'd like to extend our condolences and well-wishes to the whole Das Ich crew. The band was scheduled to appear at this event but had to cancel their entire US tour due to Bruno's serious health issues. Get well soon, Bruno, and we hope to have you back in 2015!

band1

SPIDER LILIES: Spider Lilies is dark electro-rock with female vocals, guitar, and often, violin. Their live show is a high-energy experience, fronted by Stacey Campbell, who toured the world with other bands before starting this project in 1999. Often compared to Kidney Thieves, Collide, or Ego Likeness, Spider Lilies have three releases under their belt and will be visiting the Ball to support their new EP, "Error." This is their first time performing for us.
STAGE TIME - 10:35pm (See Video)

band2

INTERFACE: Interface’s sound has ranged from aggressive industrial (“Frantic”, “Metalstorm”) to dance floor anthems (“Age of Computers, “Wasted Time”), to soft ballads and even ambient experimentalism. But for Halloween, expect their most up-tempo, dance-til-you-drop tracks. This is Interface's first performance at the Ball.
STAGE TIME - 12:05am (No Video Yet)

We have a dancefloor downstairs as well as a separate dancefloor on the second floor in the 21+ area. Rocking out one of our DJ booths as well as a big merchandise table is DJ Hiem from Pittsburgh, best known as the creator of the Electronic Saviors cancer benefit compilations. Our second DJ will be announced at the end of this week.

Details, Some of Which Will Be Familiar to You

IT'S HALLOWEEN! Costumes are very much encouraged (but not mandatory) and it seems like each year, you all outdo yourselves. We can only imagine what kind of creativity you'll be unleashing for this event. Our Halloween event always sells out, and since this one falls on a Friday, we don't anticipate having any tickets at the door. BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE!

The location for all of our Dracula's Ball events during 2014 will be the historic Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. As always, the Ball is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ with proper photo ID to drink. Personal photo cameras are welcome. Large professional camera rigs with unpleasant flash bulbs are not. Video cameras are not allowed.

Our Facebook page is frequently updated with news on ticket availability and other matters. You can also use Facebook to officially RSVP to the Ball, Share links to the Ball on your own page and see how many of your friends have already RSVP'd to the event.

It's never a good idea to miss any Dracula's Ball party, but you know that Halloween is the one you absolutely cannot skip. Tickets will be limited to ensure that people have room to move around, so get tickets in advance. Don't wait 'til the last minute or you'll be out of luck.

It's going to be a fantastic Halloween and we're excited to see what amazing costumes you come up with this year.

Best wishes,

[Patrick] & Dracula's Ball Staff
